The teacher companion to Geometry B — Solids, Coordinates, Circles and Probability (California), the second semester of a full-year, college-preparatory Geometry course aligned to the California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and the Standards for Mathematical Practice.
Module 1 covers the semester as a whole: how the course completes the Geometry standards and the UC A-G area C case, how proof continues in new forms (informal arguments, coordinate proofs, circle theorems) alongside the modeling cycle, pacing and what to cut, and tools, access, privacy and integrity. Modules 2-5 take one student unit each: a briefing on what students produce and the misconceptions that arrive every year, a facilitation lesson for the discourse lab and modeling workshop, and a scoring lesson with synthetic student work at three levels and the feedback that moves each.
